About The Position

At Brasserie Copain , we bring together the comfort of a neighborhood café with the energy of a polished dining room. During the day, the restaurant operates as a counter service café and bakery space. At night, it transitions into a full service dining experience with a full bar, thoughtful wine offerings, and a beverage program designed to complement the kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who can truly own the bar, take pride in their craft, and bring confidence, consistency, and hospitality to every shift. As we move into the busy summer season and patio weather, we are looking for a skilled bartender who can help elevate the guest experience at night and be a steady, polished presence behind the bar.

Requirements

• Strong bartending experience in a polished, full service dining environment
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of the bar
• Solid knowledge of craft cocktails, classic builds, wine, and spirits
• The ability to speak comfortably about wine and make thoughtful recommendations to guests
• A professional, guest focused presence and strong communication skills
• Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to stay composed under pressure
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal business periods

Responsibilities

• Own the bar with confidence, organization, and a strong sense of urgency
• Prepare craft cocktails, wine, and other beverages with consistency and precision
• Speak confidently about wine and guide guests through beverage selections with professionalism
• Support the full service dinner experience by delivering polished, attentive hospitality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Stay ahead of service needs, anticipate guest flow, and keep the bar operating smoothly during high volume shifts
• Work closely with the service team to support pacing and a seamless guest experience
• Complete opening and closing duties thoroughly and consistently
• Uphold professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in every part of service
