About The Position

The Duke's Bartender will provide beverage service in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment, aiming to increase customer loyalty.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma/GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must comply with all health codes and regulations
• Knowledge of casino environment
• Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must have and maintain an Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training
• Must have previous experience in handling cash
• Must have the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of our guests
• Required Work Cards: Gaming Registration Alcohol Certification

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a casino/bar establishment preferred

Responsibilities

• Make and create specialty drinks for guests
• Function as cashier for beverage outlet and ensure balanced monies
• Maintain proper set-up of the bar, including maintaining cleanliness of guest areas
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
