About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving beverages with precision and hospitality—whether to guests seated at the bar, in the lounge, or at dining tables. This role also includes food service for bar guests and requires the ability to work independently while upholding the standards of fine service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a full-service or fine dining environment
  • Strong understanding of liquor types, wine varietals, classic cocktails, and modern mixology
  • Ability to prepare drinks consistently and according to established recipes
  • Solid math skills and experience handling cash and POS systems
  • Familiarity with liquor liability laws and safe serving practices
  • Must have Clark County Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • Full restaurant menu, daily specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Wine list, liquor list, and signature cocktail recipes
  • Local and state alcohol laws and responsible service guidelines
  • Basic accounting principles related to bar transactions and cash handling
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move heavy items such as cases of beer, wine, or liquor
  • Able to open wine, beer, and liquor bottles regularly throughout shift
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Must be punctual and reliable with a consistent work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a full range of beverages according to precise recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide food and beverage service to guests seated at the bar
  • Set up and arrange bar area, mixes, garnishes, and tools in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Safely operate bar equipment and handle utensils
  • Use consistent and accurate alcohol pour measures
  • Take and input food orders using the restaurant’s POS system
  • Handle and be accountable for a personal cash drawer, including accurate transactions and reconciliation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory and stock levels, ensuring proper storage and security
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with guests and team members
  • Perform daily side work and closing duties without supervision when required
  • Assist with answering phones and supporting host staff as needed
