Additionally, the role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, managing inventory, and adhering to all safety and alcohol service regulations. Requirements

  • Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
  • Experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology trends.
  • Ability to handle point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
  • Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, making recommendations, and responding to inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
