Requirements
- Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology trends.
- Ability to handle point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, making recommendations, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
