From weddings and holiday parties to corporate retreats and social gatherings, our catering team delivers unforgettable events with creative menus, seamless service, and elevated design expertise. We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our Food and Beverage team as Bartenders at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, assist guests with their beverage orders, and help create a positive dining experience. This position will be stationed out of Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens located in Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer service or food service experience preferred.
  • Must enjoy interacting with students in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Must be comfortable commuting to Dallas, TX.
  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.
  • Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be TABC Certified.
  • Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
  • Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, moving through a limited space, and walking on various surfaces
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/break down responsibilities.
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner.
  • Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
  • Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
  • Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
