This position is responsible for providing bartending service at Glendale Lakes Golf Club. This position takes customer's food and beverage orders and serves food at the bar and window to golfers before, during and after play. Must be 21 years old with a valid Illinois driver's license. The Bartender position is a seasonal role operating during the golf season, typically from April through early November. This position is scheduled for approximately 2 to 3 shifts per week, totaling 18 to 25 hours weekly; however, hours and shifts are not guaranteed and may vary based on business needs. Standard hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. Schedules may vary depending on daily golf events and may require earlier start times or later end times. Please note that shifts are weather-dependent, and cancellations may occur with short notice, including the evening prior to or the morning of a scheduled shift. In addition to bartending duties, this position includes light food preparation, such as cooking hot dogs, brats, and frozen pizzas. Candidates are required to obtain both a Food Handler’s Certification and BASSET Certification within two weeks of employment.
