Requirements

  • Must have completed a bartenders' study course.
  • Must be able to pass WA Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English to serve our residents and their associates.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome our incredible residents!
  • Provide excellent customer service and drink suggestions to our residents, their families, and associates.
  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
  • Ensure that no resident or their guest is over-served, and that no one under the age of 21 is served any form of alcoholic product.
  • Arrange and maintain an attractive display for the bar area.
  • Clean and maintain stemware, glassware, and bar station.
  • Are familiar with the menu and a variety of wine and other pairings for each meal to answer resident questions.
  • Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age and our Affiliates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
