Requirements

  • 1+ years of bartending or high-volume service experience preferred (brewery/taproom experience a plus).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Passion for craft beer, spirits, and hospitality.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong team orientation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Ability to move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 25 pounds.
  • Must obtain and maintain all required certifications (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a Warm Welcome: Greet every guest with a genuine smile and friendly introduction. Share your name and open the door for meaningful interactions.
  • Provide Exceptional Beverage Service: Prepare, serve, and describe beer, spirits, and other beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and enthusiasm.
  • Practice Expert Knowledge Sharing: Master and share in-depth knowledge of our beers, spirits, food offerings, and campus experiences with guests to elevate their visit.
  • Create Personalized Guest Experiences: Engage guests with thoughtful questions, tailored recommendations, and personalized tastings to make every visit memorable.
  • Execute Prompt and Efficient Service: Ensure orders are accurately and quickly prepared, delivered, and cleared, all while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Promote and Sell Offerings: Confidently suggest new menu items, flights, food pairings, merchandise, and upcoming events to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain Impeccable Standards: Ensure bar areas, glassware, menus, and service stations are spotless, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with fellow hospitality team members to deliver a seamless, welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines, state and local laws, and company policies.
