About The Position

The Bottle Club/Swig - Bartender I(Wed-Sat, 4pm - 10pm) The Bottle Club is an all-american bar and pub and Swig Bar is San Francisco’s premier live entertainment venue with live music and DJs. We are looking for a bartender at both locations near Union Square in San Francisco. If you are looking to be a member of highly dynamic team across two locations, the bartender position at The Bottle Club/Swig may be right for you. Qualified candidates may have prior experience in a busy bar or nightclub and most shifts will be between 4pm and 10pm.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub
• Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles
• Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships
• Flexible evening availability
• Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers
• Able to stand 8-10 hours

Responsibilities

• Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service
• Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently
• Take food orders and run food as necessary
• Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary
• Keep work relationships professional and courteous
• Demonstrate attention to detail
