The Bartender at The Thirsty Dragon is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service within the resort’s lively lobby bar environment. This role combines craft beverage preparation with engaging guest interaction to create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests. The Bartender supports the overall Food & Beverage operation by maintaining service standards, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required, hotel or upscale bar experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage presentation.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service per state law.
- Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Provide attentive, engaging, and personalized service to guests at the bar and lobby seating areas.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer offerings; provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, equipment, and service areas.
- Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws and policies.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with bar setup and breakdown.
- Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure seamless service flow.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including cash handling procedures.
- Always Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture.
