About The Position

Blackhawk Country Club will be the premier full-service club in the East Bay, where members gather as a community and create lifelong connections through exceptional experiences in an incomparably beautiful setting. Position Summary: Blackhawk Country Club is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our team. This flexible position involves working at any of the six bars located within Blackhawk Country Club. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of bartending experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and crafting high-quality cocktails. While prior country club experience is a plus, it is not required. Experience with craft cocktails is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Requires at least 2 years of closely related bartending experience, work experience in high volume dining restaurant environment preferred
  • Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation keeping updated on new and revised beverage recipes
  • Strong hospitality skills with the ability to interact with Members, Guests and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Ability to secure Serve Safe certification

Nice To Haves

  • RBS certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests at the bar
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including craft cocktails, in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, glassware, and equipment.
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deal appropriately with intoxicated guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other bar staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
  • Uphold the club's standards of professionalism, hospitality, and member satisfaction.
