Introducing Poza L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is thrilled to debut Poza : Classic California poolside fare reimagined, featuring Pacific Rim influences with the highest quality sourced regional produce and seafood. Our “liquid kitchen” will craft a curated roster of refreshing cocktails and spritzes. Beverages will also include select wines by the glass and popular beers—including some of LA’s finest. Position Overview As a Bartender at Poza, rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, you are the artist behind the bar and the energy behind the experience. You will craft cocktails with precision and creativity, deliver impeccable service, and help shape the culture of our rooftop scene. Your passion for mixology, storytelling, and connection will make every guest feel like they’ve discovered something truly special.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ bartending experience in a luxury or lifestyle cocktail bar setting
- Deep knowledge of spirits, wine, sake, beer, and classic + contemporary cocktails
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- A current Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification are required for this position
Nice To Haves
- Mixology or sommelier certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Create and serve a wide range of handcrafted cocktails and beverages with consistency and style
- Maintain an expert knowledge of Poza’s cocktail program, wine list, and culinary offerings
- Engage with guests warmly, offering recommendations and personalizing each interaction
- Ensure the bar area is clean, stocked, and operating efficiently at all times
- Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of all drinks
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including responsible alcohol service
- Stay current on trends in mixology, ingredients, and beverage presentation
