Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong knowledge of mixology, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender engages with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, manages inventory, and ensures the bar area remains clean and organized. A passion for crafting drinks and enhancing the customer experience is essential.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a bartending role preferred.
  • Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Friendly demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Obtain and Maintain SNHD Health Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Sherriff’s Card.
  • Availability to work flexible hours is required, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Manage inventory, restock supplies, and track drink orders accurately.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, good hygiene practices, proper clothing, shoes, and jewelry guidelines.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly when needed and ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in creating new cocktail recipes and promoting drink specials.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils, using dishwashing equipment when needed.
  • Performs all other job-related duties as assigned
