About The Position

As a bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere for guests, maintains bar cleanliness and organization, and adheres to all safety and alcohol service regulations. This is a seasonal position from 12/26/25 to 04/5/26. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant, snow conditions and needs of the business. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of bar experience required
  • Valid alcohol service certification (Colorado TIPS (on site) certificate) preferred, or ability to acquire one within 1 week of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and current beverage trends
  • Understanding of mixology techniques and drink presentation
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
  • Knowledge of local alcohol laws and responsible beverage service practices

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards
  • Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
  • Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local and state laws
  • Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and replenishing inventory
  • Monitor guest behavior and respond appropriately to prevent over-service
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain an accurate cash drawer
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Report maintenance, inventory shortages, or safety concerns to management
