Position Summary: Provides world class guest service in our restaurants, taking drink orders, serving alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages to guests, and taking payment for purchases.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Responsibilities
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Interacting with our guests to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Fills drink order per the restaurant recipes and standards.
- Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions.
- Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures.
- Sets up and breaks down assigned bar in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the handling all payment methods.
- Maintains sanitation and safety standards in assigned work area.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
