About The Position

Join our team at our new Dockside Bar & Grill at Tappan Lake! We’re looking for a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional bartending services at various off-site events and venues. If you have excellent mixology skills, a passion for customer service, and enjoy creating memorable experience for guests, we want you on our team.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting, preferably in off-site catering or events.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (ServSafe, ASK Certification) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide attentive and friendly customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking inventory, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions, and accommodate special requests.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
• Manage cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including handling payments and providing change.
• Demonstrate professionalism and represent the company brand effectively at all times.
