Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for the preparation and service of all beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in a professional and efficient manner. This role requires a personable and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The Bartender ensures exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service, maintaining product knowledge, and adhering to all safety and responsible service guidelines.The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, maintains excellent attendance, and is available to work scheduled shifts and special events based on business needs. This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 and is tip eligible Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching About the Venue The Greensboro Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy. The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships, and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as today’s biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift. The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Additionally, there's the White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, the Novant Health Fieldhouse, Greensboro Aquatic Center, The Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions, and the 300-seat Odeon Theatre. Requirements

Six months or more experience bartending.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.

Responsibilities

Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Must communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations.
If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
Contact a management member if he/she is unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
Request additional product or restock product as required
Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times.
Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained.
Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assisting with organization of the cooler
