NOW HIRING FULL-TIME BARTENDER $19.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience This is a non-tipping position; the starting wage reflects a competitive hourly rate as a result. Must be available weekends and holidays (holiday pay applies)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
  • Possess TABC certification
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink-mixing tools and techniques.

  • Have at least one year of experience working as a bartender in a high-volume setting, and the ability to maintain a safe, controlled bar environment
  • Possess a valid food handler’s card and any state-required liquor/server certification
  • Have experience using a computer and/or POS system
  • Be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
  • Have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents' family members, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming residents and families, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
  • Checking identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to purchase alcohol.
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.
  • Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Developing new cocktail recipes.
