About The Position

Restaurant Bartenders are responsible for providing service and preparing beverages for the patrons of the bar and restaurant. Bartenders represent the hotel to all guests, assisting with guest needs, and completing all daily duties and assigned projects utilizing the principles, policies and standards of Hulsing Hotels.

Requirements

High School Diploma or at least one (1) year of previous experience as a food and beverage server or bartender or another related field.
Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative.
Must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel-related or customer service experience desired.

Responsibilities

Ensure guest satisfaction for all guests through proper progression of service sequence.
Be fully conversant with a wide array of specialty drinks and cocktails.
Adhere to all pouring standards.
Card all guests, not serve or allow service of alcohol to minors, not serve guests who appear to be intoxicated.
Have the ability to service multiple tables and guests in an efficient manner.
Know all menu item ingredients, be conversant with the cooking techniques of each item, know the correct presentation of each menu item.
Know how to efficiently operate the POS system.
In all guest interactions associate must always be professional, accommodating, helpful and friendly.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Performs other duties as assigned.
