About The Position

Bartender is responsible for maintaining, receiving and storage of Spirits, Wine, Beer and other supplies for the Bar

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months to one-year job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, receiving and storage of Spirits, Wine, Beer and other supplies for the Bar
  • Explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
  • Understands where to get the information needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks to standard.
  • Explain or demonstrate the behavioral values or standards needed to complete tasks to standard.

  • Has complete knowledge and can tell others of IMGR&C products and services.
  • Provide guests with directions or other venue information. Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
  • Performance meets expected end results and standards in Key Responsibilities and those listed on technical / operational SOP’s and task lists.
  • Responds to obstacles; finds new ways to reach desired end results.

  • Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Reports all situations to Supervisor or Manager where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards.

  • Complies with all IMGR&C and Policies, procedures and daily checklist.
  • Is responsible for all basic bar financial control policies including revenue controls such as POS data entry and closing, beverage pouring and dispensing policies, cash and credit card handling procedures and the security of all IMGR&C inventories and assets.
  • Knowledge of cocktail and drink terminology and preparations.
  • Performs all shift opening and closing checklist duties.
  • Wipes all bottles clean on a daily basis.
  • The Bartender will provide prompt, friendly, courteous and professional service to guest and team members
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures.
  • Obtains and maintains Alcohol Servers License.
