About The Position

As a Terrain Events Bartender, you are a key part of creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll craft and serve high-quality beverages aligned with Terrain’s seasonal and garden- inspired aesthetic. This is an ideal position for experienced bartenders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy teamwork, and appreciate the artistry of premium events.

Requirements

  • Preferred experience is minimum 2 years bartending
  • Certification: RAMP certification required.
  • Skills: Fast-paced cocktail execution, teamwork, and multitasking under pressure.
  • Communication: Clear, friendly, and professional with guests and colleagues.
  • Availability: Must be available for nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum of 3 shifts/month during peak season (April–December).
  • Physical Requirements: Able to work 8–10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required
  • Scheduling: Weekly recurring availability required; Typical Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Event catering, banquets, fine dining, or upscale hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly as a representative of the Terrain brand.
  • Provide professional and attentive service throughout the event.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
  • Execute both featured and client requested cocktails per brand standards.
  • Properly pour wine and beer; maintain knowledge of classic and seasonal cocktails, as well as our curated selection of NA drinks.
  • Follow setup checklists: stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and tools.
  • Maintain visual standards with polished glassware and elegant bar displays.
  • Assist with service, glassware restocking, and post-event teardown.
  • Inventory and label alcohol; support full venue reset for the next event.
  • ID guests under 25 and comply with current laws to ensure responsible alcohol practices.
  • Refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests with professionalism.
