The Bartender position at the Marriott Stamford Hotel & Spa involves engaging with guests to create memorable experiences, serving beverages according to standards, and ensuring the bar area is well-prepared for dinner service.

Requirements

• Relevant bar certificate.
• 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale high-end restaurant.
• Experience in shift opening and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of food and wine pairing.
• Well spoken, gracious, and ready to follow Marriott Standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to create a memorable experience.
• Welcome guests in the lobby bar, explain the menu, and take beverage orders while upselling food items.
• Serve beverages according to Stamford Marriott standards.
• Setup the area for dinner service.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Comply with all food & beverage regulations.
