About The Position

The Bartender at Hyatt Place St. Petersburg is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. This full-time position involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food handling and liquor laws.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of bartending experience preferred.
• Ability to work most weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Knowledge and/or ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages according to company recipes and standards, including signature cocktails.
• Properly check I.D.s to verify guest age.
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
• Assist in bar promotions to enhance guest experience.
• Engage guests in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.
• Process and collect payments from guests accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform all bar set up and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Execute opening and closing procedures for the bar.
• Know and comply with food handling and liquor laws.
• Report any items in need of repair to management.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
