About The Position

The position involves responsibilities such as verifying age requirements, mixing drinks, and pairing tastes. The bartender must be knowledgeable in mixing traditional and classic drinks and creating cocktail lists. Maintaining a clean bar and bar supplies is essential, along with keeping the bar stocked. The role also includes cutting fresh fruit and garnishes, discarding any old items, and assisting in managing bar inventory when needed. Additionally, the bartender will process member accounts and payments.

Requirements

• Must have basic bartending knowledge, i.e. knowing standard pour, different liquors, etc.
• Must be able to develop relationships with the membership
• Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate with MODs on member requests
• Available to mainly work evening shifts, plus holidays, and weekends
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with a willingness to learn is a must
• Professional appearance and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to stand/walk for several hours, maintain composure in high stress situations, and efficiently manage workload
• Schedule is flexible, can work around school schedules or other positions within reason
