About The Position
The Bartender position at The Lexington Restaurant Group in Saint Paul, MN, is a part-time role that offers a dynamic and engaging work environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. You will answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients, providing detailed information about dietary options and daily specials. Your expertise in wine and beverage pairing will be crucial in suggesting appropriate wines and other beverages that complement our customers' meals. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in an upscale casual or fine dining setting, where you have honed your skills in customer service and bartending. A solid understanding of wine and spirits is preferred, as you will be expected to have a basic knowledge of various beverages and their characteristics. The ideal candidate will possess a great sense of hospitality and a guest-first attitude, ensuring that every patron feels valued and well taken care of. Additionally, you will be expected to adhere to the COVID-19 Preparedness Plan Guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for both staff and guests. This position typically requires working 20 to 35 hours per week, with shifts lasting 8 hours, primarily during the night.
