Requirements

• Minimum age requirement as per local laws (21 years old - Oklahoma).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a bartender or in a related role.
• Knowledge of mixology and cocktail recipes.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
• Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with appropriate supplies, such as liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and reconciliation of payments.
• Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Monitor guests' consumption of alcohol and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain communication for any special customer requests.
• Stay informed about beverage trends and continuously develop knowledge of new drinks and techniques.
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events or special occasions.
• Participate in bar inventory control and perform regular stock checks to manage supplies effectively.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to responsible alcohol service.
