About The Position

Under general supervision of the Beverage Supervisor, maintain the bar area. Provides excellent customer service in a timely manner. Prepare all drink orders, delivers and refills drink orders, and responds to guest questions and requests. Handle all payment transactions accurately.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Required to obtain an ABLE liquor license.
• Six months customer service experience preferred.
• Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
• Required to maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
• Effectively communicate concerns and information to supervisor and listen to communication from supervisor.
• Effectively relate ideas for improvements to supervisor and management in accordance with chain of command.
• Observe and report any and all unsafe behavior displayed by internal and external guests.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Identify product, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
• Identify bar needs and communicate them to supervisor; set up, stock, clean, maintain, and break down work area.
• Maintain a proper, complete, and clean uniform.
• Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Plan, organize, and control the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar.
• Ensure cleanliness of bar, stock room, and equipment.
• Collect and manage customer payments.
• Maintain good communication with co-workers.
• Follow all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
• Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
