About The Position

As a Bartender, you'll mix up refreshing beverages for our lakeside patrons, ensuring they have an exceptional experience in our casual and relaxed setting. Whether you're a seasoned bartender or eager to gain experience, we invite you to join our team for a rewarding season by the water. This temporary/seasonal position ends in October and requires weekend and holiday availability.

Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Basic knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks (training provided for those without prior experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and excellent teamwork abilities.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.
  • Clear background check and drug screening.
  • Full weekend and summer holiday availability.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous bartending experience or experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails, beers, and wine.
  • Enthusiasm for lakeside living and the boating lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and guest preferences.
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about drink specials and food pairings.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service practices.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Splits time between bartending and serving as needed to support overall service flow.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless dining and drinking experience.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas.
  • Provide prompt and attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional, swift manner.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
