Why This Role Matters We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership for daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth service flow, and full compliance with quality and safety standards. Your leadership directly influences guest satisfaction, team performance, and the overall success of the bar operation.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of bar supervision or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-volume hospitality environments.
  • Working knowledge of bar and restaurant POS systems.
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler, ServSafe Manager, and Alcohol Server Certifications required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, and pull 30+ pounds.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily bar operations and maintain proper flow of service and staffing levels.
  • Supervise bartenders, barbacks, and front-of-house bar team members.
  • Create and manage schedules, staffing plans, and shift coverage.
  • Support onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Oversee drink preparation, order execution, and bar cleanliness.
  • Manage bar inventory, supply ordering, and cost controls.
  • Ensure full compliance with alcohol service laws, food safety standards, and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with back-of-house teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain professional appearance, organized work areas, and strong vendor relationships.
