The Work The Bartender/SERVER is the ambassador of delivering on our promise of Legendary Hospitality by creating an authentic, amazing guest experience through attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, recommendations, and impeccable service with a beginning to end bar experience that is far and above that of anywhere else, including: Ability to multi-task while maintaining expert knowledge of our dining menu and cocktail recipes Successfully take/charge/assemble/serve multiple bar/dining orders simultaneously, quickly and consistently with a sense of urgency Continual assessment of guest’s experience by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining nonalcoholic drink levels, removing clutter, pre‐bussing as necessary and proactively addressing guest needs in a timely manner Team player, working with other servers to create harmony in rotations Ring up accurate tabs in the POS system and process transactions quickly Cleans and sanitizes bar top and guest service areas every 30 minutes Perform general maintenance and cleanliness of bars, beer cooler, and liquor storage during shift and per cleaning schedule Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties Assess guest demeanor and follow alcohol awareness procedures, promptly reporting any concerning behavior to management Perform opening and closing responsibilities with attention to detail Assist others and perform additional duties as directed

Requirements

  • Team player with 2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant/bar

  • Respect for quality food and beverage, and appreciation for the technique associated with production
  • Experience with craft cocktails, local and specialty beers
  • Ability to manage controllable items, analyze and provide input on cost saving measures, proper execution, and efficient output
  • Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines with minimal supervision in noisy, fast paced environment with frequent distractions
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time.
  • Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, reach, mop, sweep, and kneel and have the ability to lift bus tubs, glass racks and trays frequently weighing up to 25-50 pounds
  • Work conditions with both hot and cold temperatures
  • Age 21 or older
  • Ability to obtain any required food service licenses or certifications
