About The Position

The Bartender at Asuka Grill & Sushi Restaurant is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to customers. This role involves engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring a clean and organized bar area while adhering to food safety regulations. The Bartender will also monitor alcohol consumption and handle cash transactions accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele
• Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing tabs

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
• Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
