About The Position

The Bartender at Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center is responsible for efficiently maintaining bar supplies, including the preparation of daily requisitions as necessary. The role requires familiarity with various types of liquor, drink recipes, prices, proper glassware, and garnishes. The bartender must also be knowledgeable about cash handling procedures, including discounting, the MICROS system, bank procedures, and tip policies, ensuring accurate charges for drinks and intake of all monies. Additionally, the bartender is expected to anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and maintain positive guest relations, resolving any complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Formal training regarding liquor liability is required within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
  • Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete liquor liability training within 30 days of employment.
