Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age .
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of bartending experience in a high volume pool, day club , or night club environment preferred.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particula r attention to detail.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
  • Proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Working knowledge of a Point-of-Sale (POS) System preferred .
  • Ability to read and interpret documents i n English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations: Nevada G aming License (Club Venu e), Alcohol Awareness Card , and NV Health Card are REQUIRED .

Nice To Haves

  • Previous modeling experience in a dayclub and/or nightclub environment preferred.
  • Experience with Micros highly preferred.
  • Written communication skills in in English may also be .

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management .
  • Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
  • Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage.
  • Adhere to proper par stock procedures .
  • Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area .
  • Maintain consistent and appropriate accountability for all money at the bar .
  • Responsible for cash bank; must ensure proper handling of any comps, room charges, credit cards, coupons, and other forms of payment as provided by the guest .
  • Upsells and suggestively sells menu items, specials and beverages at all times.
  • Performs prep tasks when not serving guests by helping to stock items or clean work areas.
  • Enforces customer limit regulations in a firm and courteous manner .
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned .
