About The Position

The Bartender position at Hyatt Centric Austin involves providing guests with high-quality libations and personalized recommendations in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of previous bartending experience.
• TABC/Food Handlers Certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and satisfy guest needs.
• Strong team player with refined verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
• Thorough understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with a variety of beverages and customized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Engage in casual conversation with guests to enhance their experience.
• Work in multiple areas of the Food and Beverage division as needed, including restaurants and banquet events.
• Stay updated on mixology trends and bar equipment usage.
