The Bartender mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role requires taking orders from customers or Cocktail Waitresses, mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Bartenders serve wine and draft or bottled beer, collect money for drinks served, and order or requisition liquors and supplies. They are responsible for arranging bottles and glasses to provide a neat and attractive display, slicing and pitting fruits for garnish, and following all point-of-sale procedures. Additionally, they must balance the cash drawer and have the ability to pour a high volume of drinks. Availability for scheduled work and exhibiting the Family Style Service model at all times is essential.
