About The Position

We’re excited to announce an opening for a creative Full-Time Bartender/Mixologist at our multiple award-winning establishment! In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to serve our residents with classic recipes as well as our unique signature cocktails, along with a selection of beer, wine, and other beverages. You’ll enjoy working in elegant restaurant venues, engaging with our wonderful clientele, and being part of a welcoming workplace. As our Bartender/Mixologist, you’ll craft cocktails, wine, beer, and other drinks for residents and guests, implement classic recipes, create signature cocktails, and ensure that everything is up to our quality standards. You’ll play a key role in keeping the bar running smoothly and ensuring that all residents and guests are happy with their orders. We’re looking for someone who is creative, able to multitask, and great at problem-solving. This position reports to the Beverage Manager. This role requires flexibility to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a bartender or mixologist
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Inventory Management
  • Recipe and Menu creation
  • Knowledgeable in Point of Sale and Inventory Management Systems
  • English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisor experience
  • Mixology or Bartending Certification

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that residents, guests, family members, and staff receive top-notch dining service.
  • Complete workstations and assigned side work efficiently.
  • Respond to resident feedback and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with the Beverage Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, and the Executive Chef, sharing all food comments and suggestions with the Executive Chef.
  • Perform liquor inventory and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the equipment necessary to operate the restaurants at or above Mather service standards.
  • Coordinate and execute theme meals and/or functions, handling related billing processes and providing accurate and timely information to the Restaurant Manager to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee the beverage program alongside the Beverage Manager to guarantee premium service and quality.
  • Implement and continuously train on the Mather Beverage program and uphold the standards we have in place.
