About The Position

The Bartender at Mist Lounge is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages to guests while ensuring compliance with beverage department standards. This full-time position requires a commitment to superior guest service and adherence to cash handling policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED or recognized equivalent.
• One (1) year of guest service experience.
• Six (6) months of bartending experience or completion of an accredited bartending school, or three (3) months of an internal fast track program.

Nice To Haves

• Above average knowledge of Spirits, Wine, and Beer.

Responsibilities

• Formulate beverages according to established recipes.
• Serve guests in compliance with MAST and guest service standards.
• Ring up each transaction on the cash register and adhere to accurate cash handling policies.
• Maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Initiate and establish superior guest service, including recommendations of drink selections and informing guests of specials and product knowledge.
• Utilize and implement MAST training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol-related concerns and over-service.
• Set up and close work stations in compliance with established procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
