About The Position

As a Bartender at Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of bartending and mixology, along with excellent communication skills to provide personalized service. You will also ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must have required work cards.
• Minimum of 6 months in bar-related positions preferred.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards.
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to bar set-up area.
• Wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Process all payment methods.
• Count bank at end of shifts, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete closing duties.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Comply with quality assurance standards.
• Follow company and department policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; wear nametag; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
