About The Position

As a Bartender at Hilton Nashville Green Hills, you will serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and friendly manner, adhering to established brand and hotel guest service and sustainability standards. This role involves setting and clearing tables, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service. You will also be responsible for preparing guest checks and completing payment transactions, as well as performing additional food and beverage functions as needed during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS system.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of service system.
• Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly.
• Prepare guest checks and complete payment transactions as appropriate.
• Perform bartending and bussing duties during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
