About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full and part time BARTENDER positions at Texas A&M. The position involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The job requires adherence to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, as well as maintaining stock and cleanliness in the bar area. The schedule offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available, and hours may vary.

Requirements

• Prior high-end and high-volume bartending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area.
• Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies.
• Maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes.
• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Takes and processes orders for drinks, mixing and presenting them according to standard recipes.
• Checks guests for proper identification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Receives cash from guests and ensures proper execution of charges.
• Locks up and stores all beverage products and cash drops.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
