About The Position
The Bartender at Legends Hospitality is responsible for ensuring positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as bartenders will engage with guests directly, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. The position involves utilizing high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs, and spices to create exceptional drinks that enhance the guest experience. Bartenders must maintain an attractive and functional bar area, ensuring that all tools and products needed for mixing beverages are readily available. In addition to drink preparation, bartenders are expected to provide information on wine characteristics, evaluate guests' needs, and serve wine using proper techniques. They will also collaborate with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes, check guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase, and handle cash transactions following company procedures. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area is crucial, as is adhering to health and safety standards. Bartenders will also be required to attend mandatory meetings and perform general cleaning tasks as needed. This position demands flexibility, as bartenders may be required to work long hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A strong knowledge of drink recipes, wines, and food and beverage service standards is essential. The ideal candidate will be personable, friendly, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
