About The Position
Beach Happy Café is seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent guest service, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cocktail recipes, beer, and wine
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol in Florida
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
- Check guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
- Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and daily cleaning duties
- Support front-of-house team as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
