About The Position

Under general supervision, opens and closes the hotel bar for guests following Company policies and procedures. Maintains the food prep and hotel bar area in a clean, well-organized manner while serving and assisting guests. Presents a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with customers and co-workers. Has general knowledge of the hotel, area, and events to answer questions.

Requirements

• Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
• Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwave.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members.
• Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around the bar area.
• Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
• Ability to work with and prepare food.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements.
