Position Purpose: To ensure safe, efficient, and courteous beverage services to guests. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Responsible to follow all alcohol sale and distribution policies, ordinances, and regulations. Become knowledgeable of all menu items. Maintain sufficient inventory of all bar supplies and alcohol. Comply with ABLE Commission rules, and alcohol sale & distribution procedures. Assist in ensuring sufficient inventory of all bar supplies and alcohol. Provide courteous and efficient guest services. Verify legal age (21) of guests ordering alcohol. Serve beer, wines, and other drinks as needed. Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety. Monitor the behaviors and actions of guests consuming alcohol and observe for signs of intoxication. Comply with departmental policies and procedures when restricting alcohol sales to guests. Communicate all concerns and guest complaints to the Bar Manager. Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests. Accept payments and operate point of sale system to track orders and record sales. Secure all monies in a locked bank bag and be responsible for maintaining zero balance at the end of shift. Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. Obtain and maintain a liquor license, gaming license, and food handler’s permit. Perform other duties as assigned.
