About The Position

The position involves providing friendly, courteous, and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests. Responsibilities include cleaning and setting tables, preparing beverages, taking orders, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. The role requires interaction with guests and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • One to three years of high volume bar experience required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
  • Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required.
  • California RBS Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and servers for table delivery.
  • Take beverage and food orders at the bar and describe menu items.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits.
  • Ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are stored safely.
  • Assist with recipe batching, ice molding, and preparing garnishes.
  • Ensure cleanliness of taps, coolers, and appliances.
  • Verify customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
  • Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
  • Act as a cashier for servers when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and dispose of waste.
  • Assist servers, other bartenders, and barbacks as needed.
  • Participate in the deep cleaning of the outlet.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer payments.
