About The Position

The Bartender at Boathouse The Las Olas Company is responsible for mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons. This role requires maintaining high customer satisfaction, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and performing cashier duties as needed. The Bartender will also manage inventory and assist in maintaining service standards while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to mix beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Experience in cashier duties and managing cash transactions.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain rapport with guests.
• Knowledge of beverage control systems and proper recipe methods.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient mixing of beverages.
• Perform cashier duties as required, including managing a cash bank and issuing proper change.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and rapport with guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the bar station.
• Take inventory of beer, wine, and liquors.
• Receive and check Daily Requisition from the storeroom.
• Prepare juices and garnish items as needed.
• Mix beverages for guests or wait staff using proper recipe methods.
• Complete required paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Leave the work area clean and organized for the next shift.
• Secure all liquor and bar supplies at closing and make requisitions for replenishment.
• Multitask skillfully while maintaining excellent guest service.
• Communicate effectively with management and bar team.
• Inform guests about online reviews and encourage positive mentions.
• Utilize downtime wisely for bar maintenance and preparation.
