About The Position

As an Apprentice Bartender, you will be responsible for assisting the bartender and maintaining the appearance of the bar. Position: Hourly, Full-Time Location: Gold Strike Casino

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience as an apprentice bartender working in a similar resort setting.
• Money handling experience.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bartender with the preparation of drinks, mixes, and garnishes.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area.
• Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas.
• Ensure proper setup, labeling, stocking, and delivery of alcohol, and non‐alcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice.
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and responding effectively to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, and notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job‐related duties as requested.
