WE LOVE OUR WORK. SUMMARY The Barporter supports the Bartenders and overall bar operation by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness. This role is essential to delivering a seamless, polished guest experience by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, spotless, and operating at peak efficiency during all service periods.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, and commissions and apply to practical situations
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas, including counters, floors, shelving, and storage areas
  • Stock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, glassware, ice, and garnishes as needed throughout service
  • Assist bartenders by replenishing supplies to ensure uninterrupted guest service
  • Collect, wash, and properly store glassware and bar tools
  • Remove trash, recyclables, and empty bottles in accordance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure back-of-house areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to bartenders or leadership
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including breakdown and reset
  • Communicate supply needs and shortages to Food & Beverage supervisory staff in a timely manner
  • Pick up and deliver supplies from the Food & Beverage storeroom and receiving dock
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary in accordance with responsible service practices
  • Operate the POS system accurately to process and reconcile sales
  • Attend departmental and company meetings as required
