Barnard College seeks a full-time (early-career) Faculty Fellow to join the rich community of research, teaching, and praxis centered in the Department of Neuroscience & Behavior. This is a two-year residential research and teaching fellowship welcoming of early-career scholars from a broad range of social backgrounds, including those under-represented in academia. The fellowship is designed to help expand the breadth of scholars hired into tenure-track positions by providing valuable experience, skills, and mentorship. Faculty Fellows teach two undergraduate courses each year relevant to their scholarly interests and experience, conduct research and scholarship, and receive professional development support from the Department of Neuroscience & Behavior, Barnard College, and Columbia University. Applicants with experience in areas that align with the faculty ( https://neuroscience.barnard.edu/people ) , specifically in the areas of vision, learning, and development at the molecular, cellular, systems, cognitive/behavioral or computational level are encouraged to apply.
