About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Provide customers of The Provision Café with excellent customer service and quality products in a Christ-centered, friendly, upbeat and clean environment.

Requirements

• Promptly welcomes and connects with every customer.
• Performs all duties according to The Provision Café standards for beverage prep, safe food handling, workplace safety and proper cash handling.
• Offers assistance to team members without hesitation.
• Discovers customer needs and seeks to provide excellent service.

Nice To Haves

• Barista experience using a semi-automatic espresso machine.
• Food Service experience.
• ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, offering to help, explaining menu and options, and accurately take orders.
• Properly and promptly prepare food and beverages in accordance with The Provision Café standards.
• Ability to clearly communicate knowledge about daily menu availability and pricing, ingredients and preparation techniques for all food and beverages served.
• Perform cleaning tasks following health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in general organization and daily operations of all areas associated with The Provision Café.
• Replenish supplies as required.
• Ability to open/close The Provision Café.
• Efficiently and accurately operate cash register.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.
